Advanced Robotics and Manufacturing Society (ARMS / Robotics Club)

The ARMS / Robotics Club is a student-led organization headquartered in Djuric Lab.  We hope to provide every member with the knowledge and skills necessary to obtain a high-paying job or start a company through participation in competitions and focused research projects involving the design and development of advanced robotics, manufacturing systems, and smart devices across a broad range of disciplines.

The organization is geared towards boosting the career prospects of students who are soon planning to enter the workforce and have proficiency in mathematics (through Linear Algebra), computer science (have taken and passed CSC2000 or equivalent), electronics (have completed at minimum Physics II), and kinematics/controls (have taken MIT 5700 or comparable/related courses).

Due to space and resource limitations, priority will be given to graduate students majoring in Robotics, those who are taking or have taken Prof. Djuric’s classes, and upper-level undergraduate students pursuing careers in the robotics industry.

Students who do not currently have the requisite academic background or cannot be accommodated due to capacity restrictions should not be discouraged and are strongly encouraged to join our partner club:
